Logan - he is the One

he is my child that is going to have everything weird and odd. Everyone has that child, that has a sickness or something happens to them, that you are just like what the heck. I was that child for mom/dad. I would always come home with something. One day in high school I came home and my whole left side was numb and I could hardly talk. Come to find out I had Bells Palsy for almost two weeks. How devastating is that for a high schooler. And my loving family no sympathy, just laughter at the way I smiled and talked - Nice huh :)LOL. And then I always had an injury whether it would be my ankle or my knee - it was always something!

Logan has started that trend and he is only three. This year so far - he stubbed his toe at mom's and I guess the way he did it his big toe became infected and he wound up loosing the nail, and now this week, I take him in for what I thought was a cold and walk out of the doctor's office with a child who has Pink Eye! What the heck! Never had to deal with Pink Eye before and our doctor told us the first 24hours our contagious. So the washing of the sheets have begun, the working from home, the sanitizing everything down, making the calls to everyone he has been around has begun. The hardest thing though was keeping him and Brayden apart. Even though they both fight night and day, they still love each other and Logan kept saying last night, but I miss my Brayden, I want to hug my Brayden. Brayden was being so good to him and thoughtful - it was heartwarming.

He just wasn't around anyway to get Pink Eye so I am not sure where he even got it from - just another page in Logan's book - I am sure this is the beginning of many more adventures to come with him :)

Happy Wednesday everyone - it is another hot one out there. It will be a hot game for us volleyball players tonight -woo hoo!

Stay cool and hydrated - have a great day!

Miss and love you dad~ so much.

Much love to all,
