Gorgeous Weekend

what a gorgeous weekend it was - weather wise and all. Saturday was absolutely beautiful out. The boys and I, well mainly Logan and I spent most of the day weeding and planting and I even cut the grass. I love to cut the grass, it is such good excercise and it is in a way, "me time" if that makes any sense - just you and the lawnmower and nothing but your thoughts. Normally Steve cuts it, but it has been doing a lot of work at his mom's which I don't mind one bit so Logan and I decided to cut our grass and not wait for daddy. By Saturday night I was exhausted and by Sunday morning my legs were hurting - but it is all good.

Saturday was Will's Birthday and it is also Luke's (Robin's middle child) birthday. What a beautiful day both boys had to celebrate their big day. Will was the beautiful light that came into our dark world two years ago. I remember the day like it was yesterday. And I am so grateful to Sean and Lisa for having Will early so dad could meet his namesake, what a special memory that we all have of that. And he has turned into the cutest little thing I could just eat him up. I will post pictures later tonight of him.

Sunday was spent at mom's house celebrating Will's birthday and talking about our trip - Finally after many years of talking about it we are going on a family trip. Nothing too huge, just to Cumberland for a couple of days but it is a start - Mom is so excited. This is something her and dad have always wanted to do and as we get older and the kids get older, it seems it is getting harder and harder to plan, so this year we just said screw it, we are going. It will be a great time, and I am sure a lot of drunken nights :) LOL

I heard a great word this weekend " HypoChristian" - you know those Christians are so hypocritical and you wonder how they sleep at night. I look at it this way: I know I have had a good productive day in God's eyes when I can sleep at night - other's you just wonder how they do sleep at night.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to enjoy the beautiful weekend - it is suppose to get HOT again this week - oh boy....
