Day Off

yesterday was a random day off for Steve and I. Our babysitters were busy so we decided both to take off and make it a family fun day. Which consisted of you guessed it - going to Kings Island! This time it was very hot and it was crowded. It was Delta day and it was also AAA Chidrens Outing, so needless to say kiddie land was packed but Brayden's rides were okay. We didn't stay too long - I guess half day. Then we came home and all crashed. Being in the hot sun like that can wear you out.

Then the storms came - and did they come. We were in our car when it first started because we had the unplanned expense of having to get new tires for my car - just when you think you can get caught up - bam! Oh well, life right. Poor Brayden though, he is so terrified of storms, especially of the lighting because they had started learning about it in school and the damage that storms can do - he was none the happy and wanted to get home as soon as we could.

So we spent the rest of the evening doing puzzles and hanging out - it was a nice quiet evening. I love to have random days off - there is nothing more rewarding than to spend time with my boys - even on grouchy days!

I hope everyone survived the storms yesterday, I guess we are suppose to get another round today - I hope everyone has a great Wednesday.
