This week has been a great week as far as weather wise - I wish it would stay like this!
Brayden received his report card yesterday and he did well in all subjects except for handwriting - he didn't fail it by any means. He has a tendacy to rush through things I think he thinks it is a race to see who gets done quicker. His cursive writing is actually better than his printing. I think it is a left handed thing and he is also part Timmerding. I know neither one of my brother's handwriting is one to write home about - Geesh :)
But in getting his report card he also got homework to do over the summer. He has to read and do a book report. I have mixed feelings about it, in that I think it is great that we continue their education all year round, but I also believe in letting the kids just be kids and enjoy their summer - as it is they do not get that much time off - just let them relax and have fun and have no worries in the world!
So, I guess we will sometime be working on a book report this summer - woo hoo. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday and enjoys the weather.
