Message from the Schilds

To All Our Friends and Family,

There are so many things that we want to say to all of you, but words truly fall short of expressing how we truly feel. Thank you to each and every one of you for participating in the Have a Heart for Jared Benefit. You all were able to participate in your own way and every one of you was a blessing. We are thankful for everyone that was there and able to enjoy it and sorry that so many of you were not able to be there, you were most certainly missed. We thank you all for the love and support that you have shown our family since Jared got sick. There have been so many wonderful blessings that have been sent to us through all of you. God has truly shown us through this time that we have indeed surrounded ourselves with great friends and a good church community. Of course we are surrounded by an awesome family. We would not wish for this to happen to even our worst enemy but are thankful in hindsight because it has taught us so many things that we am sure have been shared over the Care Page but bear repeating again. Life is precious and short, cherish every day that you have. Family and friends are special relationships that should be nourished and treasured. Don’t sweat the small stuff, and remember that it is all small stuff. God is good and He loves us. No matter how bad it gets, God will not give you more than you can handle. Pray, not just empty words, but share your life with God, your hopes, fears, desires, pains, wants, and needs. Let Him get to know the real you and don’t just go through the motions. Love each other, and say sorry now rather than waiting for a better time. And, tell people you love them when you can because you never know when it will be your last chance to do so.

We pray that God will bless all of you the way that you have blessed us. We are forever grateful for you all. Thank you so much.
