it was the first beautiful weekend, at least Friday and Saturday were. Saturday was Brayden's first outdoor soccer game - he is under 8 league - he has moved up to bigger kids. As a mom I just want him to do real and not get hurt and to have fun, but as a competitive mom I can't help but scream and tell him to run faster - but he has no hope, he has my dad's legs :).... but it was a beautiful day and he won. I yelled a little and Steve told me to calm down - he doesn't want me to be one of those parents LOL.
I took some pictures from his soccer - when he was practicing he got his leg tangled up in the net and fell down and him and his friend were laughing hysterically. Saturday he also had his first playdate over. He has never been much to have friends over but he asked us if he could - and ironically enough the boy that came over lives in our subdivision - small world. As we were leaving to take his friend home, Brayden had his first wipe out on his scooter - nothing too serious but to a 6 year old - it was the end of the world - couldn't bend his arm or leg for hours - but he is okay today.
Didn't make it over to mom's today - actually no one did - I know, I know - a shocker. But they all went over last night to watch the UK game and I couldn't go because I had other plans - I was planning on going today but fell asleep - it was one of those good nap days - sorry mom :(...................I hope everyone was able to enjoy the weekend - it looks the weather is getting a bit colder for a couple days - they had even mentioned that four letter word s--w! Yuck!
