Luke 6: 27-31
But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you."
Sometimes it is easier to try to get even with a person, or to hurt them as they have hurt you, but we have to remember to turn the other cheek - to be the better person and to not allow that person to ruin your life. Turning the other cheek is not as easy as it says but it is what God wants us to do, it is what makes us a better person.

Brayden was so cute this morning - I had made him his breakfast and I brought it upstairs to him to eat in bed - I have never ever done this, but Logan had a rough night and was on the couch sleeping and I didn't want Brayden to wake him up - he thought it was so cool that he could eat in bed - now he says, he wants to do it all of the time - I started something didn't I :)......
I am heading to the Garden of Hope in Covington this weekend. I hear about this place, this place that is a replica of Jerusalem, the tomb where Jesus was buried - a place to get closer to God and to know what he has done for us. We can never repay him expect to live a good life, and be a good person.
Much love to all,
