Rembering and Prayers

I wasn't home most of the weekend and I wasn't able to post something on Saturday and I really wanted to. Saturday being the 9th anniversary of 9/11. It is one of those days that you will always remember where you were on that day. I was at my old job and we had just relocated. I was the new person coming into an existing company and only knew two people. But I remember that week as being a horrifying week for all of us. When I heard what happened, my first reaction was to call home to mom and dad. A sense of comfort I suppose. I knew mom would be calling anyway.

All of my co-workers and I watched the TV all day long - not much work was getting done. It was like the world stood still. I remember going home and just being glued to the TV for hours, just in shock that this was going on. This was the USA, this was never suppose to happen to us. It was just one of those days that we will never forget where we were or who we were with when we heard the news, we will never forget how we felt or how we ran home and hugged our loved ones a little tighter. To the Williams family, and all of the others who had lost someone in the tragedy of 9-11 or in the war hereafter, you are in our thoughts and prayers and we send you much love.

Today is mom's surgery - even though it is an outpatient it is still a scary thing to have someone you love go under the knife - They told her it will take a week recovery so she has a week off - yeah! I am sure when she is able to hear well, she'll want to go back under so she can't - we can all get loud sometimes :). We all spent yesterday up at the house eating and drinking and watching the pathetic Bengals (LOL), but it was fun to have everyone there. Thank you Jeremy for the wings :)........

Miss and love you dad.

Much love to all !
