How cool

is it - Casey painted the Notre Dame football helmets last weekend! He is a sports program of sorts that he helps out the sports team and whichever team he is helping out - if they get shoes or a sweatshirt he does too. He was able to do the football team last week and took this picture. What an awesome thing to do.....

The movie Rudy was on last weekend and I couldn't watch it. It was one of dad's favorite movies and it just made me cry and miss him. It is neat though, after being up to Notre Dame quite a few times to see all of those places in the movie. Notre Dame is a special place for everyone in our family, especially since it meant so much to dad and that was his last journey.

It is the weekend again. For such a short week it was long. But it is suppose to rain tomorrow - so they say. We need it. It is funny how most of our neighbors have given up on their lawns but we keep on watering - like it is going to come back.

Football season officially started last night and Sunday is the Bengals first game - Yeah. We are all headed to mom's to watch it. She is having surgery on Monday - nothing major. She hasn't been hearing very well or at least she pretends she doesn't hear us and we told dad that we would make her take care of the problem. Well in having her ears checked they found a cyst in one of her ears and she has to have outpatient surgery for them to cut it out. So hopefully this helps in allowing her to hear better. Or maybe she would like to continue on pretending not to hear any of us - it can get pretty crazy when we are all around.

Tomorrow night headed out to Walton for their Old Fashion Day - Tonya and Brad are having their pizza booth set up so I am headed out to help her and just enjoy the weather - hopefully it doesn't rain and ruin the day for them. So if you are in the area stop by and have a piece of pizza!
