Happiest Place on Earth

Just returned from what everyone seems to call "The Happiest Place on Earth" - Disney World. Do not get me wrong it is a great place to visit and take the kids but it is also a great place to loose your mind. It was hot and the crowds weren't too bad except when it came to parades. I am not an evil person but a whole another side of mommy comes out when she waits an hour for a parade with two restless kids, just to have someone step right in front of them right before the parade is going to start - nope, that ain't gonna happen :)
The trip down was good, both boys did well on the plane ride - thank goodness it is such a short flight. The bus ride to the hotel, Logan fell asleep and Brayden was occupied by the TV. Luckily our room was ready when we arrived and we were able to put our luggage in our room. We freshened up and headed to Magic Kingdom. Logan was in awe - he loved it, he loved the ducks more than anything - but he had so much fun. So we started our nine days of going between four parks, in the 90degree weather, with tantrums every day because of being tired and hot and the crowds, if it wasn't Logan, it was Brayden and if wasn't one of them it was mommy :)..... Threw all of the downs of the trip tantrums and all, we had a great time and the boys really had fun - which is what mattered. Now Mommy needs a vacation!

It is funny always on the bus ride home at night in talking with other people, all of us parents would say how beat we were, how this was suppose to be the Happiest Place on Earth and yet you fill stressed to ensure your kids have a great time and see everything because it surely isn't a cheap vacation. And it was always good to hear other parents going through the same thing you were going through. We met some neat people and truly enjoyed ourselves. It is a trip the boys will remember and one my feet will never forget. I will post up some pictures later but these smiles made it all worthwhile - headaches and all LOL.

Logan's picture is fitting being with Stinky Pete - he was a little stinker. In most of the pictures he is acting goofy or smiling with his head tilted - he is something else :)

I hope all is well with everyone - have to go help Brayden catch up on school work - the downfall of missing school/work for a week.

Miss and love you dad,

Much love to all!
