Saturday July 11th - Mass is at 10:00am at Holy Cross Church
Celebration of Life (reception) immediately following mass at St. Anthony Undercroft
There will be no visitation. All are WELCOME to come help us celebrate dad's life after mass at the reception.
Do not feel like you have to come to mass to join in the reception afterwards. Please again, all are WELCOME to help us celebrate and drink one for Big Bill!

We are all doing okay today, still kind of surreal. It's quiet in the house - very quiet, but we are all still with mom - I am sure she is ready to kick us out!

hi family: I can't believe we will be missing Bill's Mass and of course party afterward. Our whole family is meeting at Ft. Walton Beach on Saturday with many leaving on Friday. I know you all understand but I assure you our hearts are aching to miss the celebration of Bill's life but hey we were lucky enough to be part of his life and his family.

Family: Immediate needs for prayers. I think Bill is at work already interceding for the family needs. You will not believe this'''I don't know if everyone knows but Bernie and Julie have been in the process of trying to adopt for over a year with several disappointments along the way. They had become discouraged in the past months. Well guess what''yesterday afternoon they got a call to come to hospital in Dayton a mother had selected 3 couples to talk to which included them to give up her newborn baby . Mother wound up not selecting any of the couples and decided to keep baby. Bernie did not tell any of us this because at the time he did not know Uncle Bill had left us.
ReplyDeleteWell guess what''''''today they got a call about 5pm that the mother of a baby born today had selected them to give her baby too and she wanted to meet them and they were on their way to Dayton. Ironically Julie's daughter Justine who now is married and lives in New Jersey had a chance at last minute to come in before starting new job and go on vacation with us came in last evening.
Bernie just called me 10:30pm the mother has okayed giving her baby to them , Bernie said they were holding the baby as he was speaking to me, with Julie and the birth mother. The birth mother is scheduled to be discharged tomorrow and the baby saturday after papers signed.
Family = asking for prayers that all goes okay we are all holding our breath but trusting in God and we are sure brother Bill as I already said Has said to God- "you need to get moving on this as this couple needs a child and since I'm now with you and you know how much family means to me give them the gift of family. Thanks all Aunt Judy
