The joys of

potty training. It takes a lot of patience, alot. I am a believer in that when they are ready they are ready and they are willing to go and try. With Brayden I read all of the books and they said to start at age 2 and put him on the potty like every hour or so and he will get the hang of it. Well needless to say, I didn't have the time or did I want to spend my whole day in the bathroom, not my favorite room in the house. And it was always such a fight and he would play more than he would go. So I forgo the book and I knew when he was ready he would start using the big boy potty. And he did, but he was closer to 3 1/2 than 2! But it saved mommy's sanity.

And now it is Logan's turn. This week he decided he didn't want a diaper anymore, he wants the big boy pants and honestly he has done quite well. Of course he is saying he has to go every hour and he tinkles to say the least but he will go. And he always has to have two pieces of toilet paper one for each hand - it is a whole ritual and once again it is teaching me patience :)......

Mom is thinking dad is haunting her. Within the last six months the house has begun to falling apart, first it was the furnace, then went the A/C and now she has pipes that are leaking. She keeps saying that he is up there laughing away like - Ha, Ha, look what I left you!..... Thankfully we can all help her out with our connections, it helps! Hang in there mom.... Hopefully today nothing will break :)

It was a beautiful night last night with the humidity down, I hope it stays that way. Have lots of outside plans this weekend - I hope everyone is having a great summer so far, it is hard to believe that June will be over soon - life is just flying by - needs to slow down a bit.
