It figures....

it is Friday and we have a lot to do outside this weekend and the forecast is calling for rain all weekend. Yuck! Tonight have family in town to go visit, tomorrow morning was a yard sale that Brayden worked hard on cleaning up his play room to sell items, mostly those annoying Happy Meal toys etc.... He was excited because I told him whatever he sold he can keep the money - he is under the assumption he is going to make enough money to go to Disneyworld. :) - If it was only that easy we would be having yard sales everyday!

I was going to take the boys to the Orphanage Festival tomorrow night, that is always a nice one for the kids and they have great fireworks and it is for a great cause, so hopefully the rain holds off but it doesn't look like it is going to - that will be one big mud pit. But first I have to go and watch Olivia's recital. She is in a lot of dances this year because she is on the dance team. She has worked really hard and gave up a lot to be on this team - I can't wait to see her! Good luck Olivia :)

Steve's Aunt Judy's store - well, not a store she owns but she is the manager at is having their Open House this weekend. It is called "Parent-Teacher" Store and it is out off Turfway right next to Remke's. It is geared towards home school parents but they will also have educational books that you can pick up for any age. I love to get those books for Brayden in the summer so he keeps up and doesn't fall behind. So I am wishing her much luck and tell her we love her and I'll bring the boys out sometime this weekend - Good Luck!

Speaking of Brayden falling behind, this child of mine, he is on a reading spree. I signed him up for the reading program at the library and every five books you read you get a small prize or a raffle ticket to win a bike. He is on book #20 and he is going to the library today with mom. I tease him all of the time that he acts like mom. She would always have four or five books laying around - she starts one, may not be in the mood for that one, so she'll start another one, and then she goes back to the first one - she loves to read! I do too it is just finding the time to do it.

I hope everyone is able to stay dry this weekend and enjoy some family time. Don't sit back and let life pass you by - continue to strive to get what you want and enjoy life! You never know what tomorrow may bring.

Miss and love you dad.

Much love to all,
