A dear old friend...

passed away this past weekend. He was an elderly man that I use to work with. He was one of those people you just loved to be around, always full of stories and life. He was the sweetest man. We would do lunch every other month or so - I cherish those times. We were actually going to do lunch next month and I had just talked to him a couple of weeks ago. It is funny, how you think you have all the time in the world to have those lunches and then something happens.

He was a kind and considerate man and he always gave a gift to the pregnant ladies in the office, whether a rocking horse or something small - he always gave something. He retired a couple years back and I was gone from that company also but we still kept in touch. We had a great friendship and I will miss him dearly. But I know he lived an amazing life and he is home with God now.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
