What an amazing quote! I found that this morning in my email - it speaks alot about a person who isn't vain and doesn't think the world is all about them, that there is a whole picture out there and if we were only kind to our neighbors, or a passerby, if we only give those who have no chances left, a chance, and if we can look past the outer person and look deep inside a person, you may just find a new friend.
I know some people that all they do is whine, whine, poor pitiful me - I don't have this, I don't have that, I wish things could be different and yet they do not realize they have the whole world at their feet. They have much more than anyone could imagine, and they will never truly understand how lucky they really are until it is all gone and that is a shame. Instead of playing the poor me card I wish they would wake up and use it all to their advantage. But that is another tangent for another day :)
Sunday June 4th at Florence Freedom, found out a little bit more info. The presentation is going to be around 6:00 - one of us is going to throw out the first pitch, which should be one of us girls, we always had a better throwing arm than the boys :).... and then they will do the presentation of a plaque of some sorts. But the evening is when the older kids are playing so it is suppose to be nice on Sunday and if you have nothing to do and would love to come and support dad - please do. I know we will all be there - Sunday dinner this week at the ballpark - yeah!!!
Miss and love you dad,
Much love to all!
