hospice came in today and said he was doing well and that the "fog" he is experiencing is mainly depression. she was going to up his anti-depressents to see if that helped so we are trying to make the house as "happy" as can be - she said he isn't showing any signs of it being the "beginning of the end" and she said we will know because he will stop eating and he will sleep all of the time, so that was good news to hear.
so if you come and visit, put on your happy face and be cheery and we are doing all we can to cheer him up. he was okay tonight in that he talked to jen and I and actually everyone but mom. we told her that he didn't want to talk to her that is why he continues to stare at the floor - he is pretending so she'll be quiet :)........
but when I left he was sitting outside and sticking up for casey as he was getting picked on but he seemed in better spirits. it seems like since saturday each day is getting a tad better - so hopefully with increasing the medicine he'll snap out of it for a bit. hopefully by the weekend he will be able to enjoy the weather and of course all of his will be there and that is enough in itself to make anyone depressed LOL (we can get annoying :) )
Much love to all,
