dad told mom last night he was bored. so today he called up his old friends Carl Czirr and Dick Hoffman and they went fishing. I asked dad when I was there this evening if he caught anything he said they each caught two fish and they caught two cars. I said "two cars?" he said yes, they got two cars stuck in the mud :)....
He had a great time today - he really enjoyed himself and he was telling anyone who came in and asked him how it went that he caught two cars. Thank you Carl and Dick for spending time with dad and just being with him. He was exhausted this afternoon but he enjoyed himself and he was happy.
He switched his medicine about two weeks ago - the anti-depressant medicine he was on before was the medicine making him weepy and not wanting to be around anyone, but this new medicine he is doing better on in that he doesn't mind visitors and as long as he is feeling good will do things. He told someone the other day - he just wants to live each day to its fullest - and that my friends is great advice that we can all take. Live each day to it's fullest and like it's your last with no regrets, for who knows what tomorow may bring.
