He is here....

William Paul Timmerding arrived at 9:04pm - he is 7lbs 12ozs - They are going to call him Will, but they wanted to name him after dad and then Paul is Lisa's dad's name - what a great name!!! ( I will post pictures as soon as I get them)

Everyone is doing fine - mama and baby are resting comfortably - I bet they are glad it is over, she was starting to get miserable here at the end with the heat and being pregnant - it's awful.

Dad was doing okay today. He slept a little bit longer than normal and Uncle John came over for a visit - mom said he seemed to be in a bit of the conversations but sometimes would fade out. Tonight he just seemed agitated for a bit and still not making too much sense. But when I was leaving he was taking a drink of a beer, but he kept saying he couldn't taste that second taste? Not sure what he was talking about.

but he seemed to be in the conversations a little bit better than last night, last night was horrible. Hospice comes tomorrow to change his meds and when I say that I just mean that they are putting a new IV bag with his medicine in his little machine, not completely changing his medicine.

Sean and Lisa had told dad the other night that they were naming the baby after him. When Sean called dad tonight, he said that dad told Sean that he thought he was just kidding. Sean said no we are serious and dad started to cry. It makes me cry thinking about this whole situation.

Celebrating a life and trying to figure out a way to let one go... it is surreal.
