Family Sports

our family grew up in sports - as kids we were lucky enough to have parents who allowed us to play what we loved to be involved in. Whether it was baseball, softball, soccer, basketball or volleyball we were all involved in sports one way or another. And it seems as we have grown up we are still into sports whether it is golf or volleyball - it seems like we will all play either one of those sports at any given time. We even had a family softball team along with our adopted family the Sketch's for many years until our bones were too old and there were too many nights icing the knees down - sports has played an important part in each of our lives and has taught us so much.

Tonight is a District game of Scott vs. Holy Cross in girls volleyball and I believe most of us are headed there tonight, at least us girls - I love volleyball, everything about it and it is so funny how the guys seem to love it too. It is probably the only women's sport the men would watch - I am sure the bikinis have nothing to do with it :) - And it is exciting and is becoming a high school rivalry type thing in our family. Amy and I both went to Scott and the rest went to Holy Cross. With one school being up the hill and one down the hill - we all know alot of people from both schools so it is fun to watch. Tonight, the loser has to buy the beer -so I need to make sure I go thirsty :) LOL

Sports - I think every child needs to be involved at least once in their life - it is an amazing experience being on a team - it is fun and you learn so much in your life about it.

Mindy, I am thirsty :)-

Miss and love you dad,

Much love to all
