Another Journey

our family is beginning another journey and so I ask for prayers. Uncle Mike has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is doing well and he will begin chemo/radiation within a couple of weeks. At the same time it has also been found out that Tom the Barber, mom and dad's next door neighbor has kidney or bladder cancer - they are still waiting on tests to see what type of cancer he has.

These two men are important in our lives and we know the journey of cancer all too well. So I ask for prayers as both of them begin this journey of treatments, doctor's appointments and the unknowns. They are both feeling great and are doing well and they will both beat the ugly disease of cancer. We will be with them every step of the way. We love both of them dearly!!!!

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and as I become to know things I will update the blog on their progress.

And I want to say a quick HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ms. Lydia - she turns 4 today! We didn't get to celebrate this weekend but will next weekend. I hope you have a great day today.
