Big weekend

big labor day weekend ahead of us. Woo hoo! I know Jen and Bill are excited because they are going to go see Casey and are going to Notre Dame's first home football game of the season. Olivia and Cary are making this trip also, so I am sure they are completely excited to go to a college campus and see their big brother. It is going to be a beautiful weekend - it is amazing, this weather, actually I love it but it is crazy. I do not remember a summer being so cool.

Mom and I are taking Brayden to the fireworks for the first time on Sunday. I think, at least for me, it is a way to remember dad. I remember as a kid for years and years we would always go down there and sit on the Newport/Bellevue wall - this was before Newport on the Levee and all of the restaurants and condos went up - when it actually use to be a wall. We would always pop popcorn and pack a cooler and head on down there - my gosh, we all loved them. It was just an amazing time to be there and to feel the earth shake - it is nerve tingling. Our favorite was always the finale - just brought goose bumps to you.
And oh the crowd you would see - wow! But hopefully, I am praying that we will first be able to find a parking spot and second not run into too many drunks. So hopefully it all goes well - I can't wait, I am excited to go and so is Brayden - we both love fireworks - and dad loved them too.
Here are two pictures of Logan, they are just funny. The one is him of eating corn on the cob and the other one is his "cheese" picture. Whenever I say, Say Cheese this is the face I get :)
