Long Weekend

whew - still trying to recover from the long weekend. It was a GREAT weekend! Started off with having another impromptune deck party with the neighbors. Steve was at a concert with Toby, so the boys and I invited some neighbors over, I think all of us needed a few drinks to vent and just to relax. Saturday started our build Logan's bunk bed project. I tried to stay out of the way until Steve needed my help. Logan was the big helper and he was super excited to get bunk beds just like Brayden.

I will have to post a picture soon of his room, it is coming along, slowly but surely. Sunday we spent the day up at Kings Island and it was a perfect day. No crowds at all and we pretty much rode everything several, several times. We were feeling that spinning the rest of the day. With it being gloomy when we got back home, all of us took a good 2 hour naps in different places in the house, quite amusing. We decided around 8 to go to the fireworks and I am grateful for having friends in high places, thank you Uncle Toby :) Monday was a visit day with Grandma!

And now it is Wednesday - back to the ole' grind. Tonight more homework and a late volleyball game, oh boy. But at least it is a short week, it would be nice if we had a four day week all of the time!

Logan also started school this week - Pre K! I can't believe it, even last night after I picked him up he just seemed so much older and wiser. He is a little upset because all of his friends from last year are in another classroom so he has to make new friends - poor little guy.

Congratulations to Nicole and Carlos on their engagement and to Pat and Lisa on the birth of their 3rd daughter - what an exciting time for both of you!!!
