Country Music

I used to never be a big fan of country music, but within the last 5 years, I have been converted into loving it! How can you not? Have you seen Kenny Chesney or Luke Bryan or Keith Urban - WOW. There are some lucky wives out there. But any who - this morning as I was driving in I was listening to it and it was funny how I thought that there is probably a country song for every situation in your life. Whether you have been dumped on, whether you were the one dumping, whether you are in love with someone with no love in return, whether you had someone love you and you had no feelings for them, whether there is baby mama drama or whatever the case may be - there is a country song out there for you. I watched the CMT Music Festival last night and when Faith Hill came on, I just smiled: Dad LOVED her!!! He said it was her music, yeah right - it had nothing to do with those long legs and nothing at all to do with how gorgeous she is :)

It is like a Hallmark card - you can almost find one for every occassion :)

Rainy yucky Tuesday morning - great morning to stay in bed and watch movies or read books all day. I have really started reading again - I always used to read until the boys came along and then it was just a matter of never having enough time to read. I finally finished the 50 Shades of Grey Triology and all I can say is WOW - what a great, fun series. Can not wait for the movie LOL

Now I am onto the 2nd book of the Hunger Games series. The first book was hard to get through in that I couldn't grasp the concept of kids killing kids, I am still not sure if I want to see the movie or not, but towards the end it is a good story - so we will see how book #2 goes for me.
